Microcredentials are available to current NCC students, non-degree students, transfer students, nontraditional students and working professionals. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required to apply. Some microcredential courses may have prerequisites.
Íøºì³Ô¹Ï is open admissions. A high school diploma or GED is required to pursue credit-bearing programs.
See Admissions for information.
If you are a current Nassau student interested in pursuing a microcredential, please contact the academic department for more information.
New microcredential programs will be added soon at Íøºì³Ô¹Ï. For information, please contact Dr. Justin Dolce, Associate Dean of Admissions, at justin.dolce@ncc.edu or email admissions@ncc.edu or call 516.572.7346.
All students will have access to support resources that include the Student Services Support Center, Math Lab, Writing Center, the library, and the Center for Íøºì³Ô¹Ï with Disabilities.
Acceptance into a microcredential does not guarantee acceptance into a degree or certificate program. However, credits you earn toward a microcredential may apply to a Nassau Community College associate’s degree or certificate program. If you are planning to pursue a degree or certificate, we encourage you to reach out to your academic program of interest first to learn about those requirements.
If you are interested in transferring credit toward a bachelor’s degree program within the State University of New York system, we encourage you to contact the NCC Career and Transfer Counseling Center in Nassau Hall (Room 19) or call 516.572.7696.
